Objective To analyze the literature in the field of health information literacy for the elderly by using CiteSpace tools to reveal the research status and development trend in this field.Methods Relevant literature in the CNKI database was collected,a visual analysis was carried out after screening and sorting,and the literature,authors,institutions and keywords in the field were comprehensively sorted and analyzed.Results The number of publica-tions in the field of health information literacy for the elderly is increasing year by year,the cooperation network of authors and institutions is not close enough,and the hot keywords in the field are health literacy,information lit-eracy,influence factors,ect.Conclusion The research on the field of health information literacy for the elderly shows a higher degree of research enthusiasm and activity,and future research should focus on further deepening the cooperation between different disciplines and institutions,strengthening health information education and promot-ing digital health services.
