Comparative Analysis of the Design and Operation Effect of Different Activated Sludge Processes in Urban Wastewater Treatment
This paper presents a comparative analysis of the design and operation effect of different activated sludge processes in urban wastewater treatment.By comparing the biological nitrogen and phosphorus removal process,se-quencing batch reactor, biosorption oxidation process and oxidation ditch process, this paper finds their differences in treatment efficiency, operational stability, impact resistance and economy, and further analyzes factors influencing the operation effect of activated sludge processes, such as influent water quality, the aeration mode, the sludge age and temperature. The research findings of this paper are of significant importance for optimizing the design and op-eration of activated sludge precesses, and are helpful to the improvement of efficiency and sustainable development of urban wastewater treatment.
