In the information age,the effectiveness of nationwide reading promotion needs not only the joint par-ticipation of governments at all levels,public libraries,schools and media,but also the active input of social forces.Among them,public libraries should give full play to their professional advantages,and make use of their rich library literature resources and professional information literacy courses to improve the public's information literacy and reading literacy.At the same time,public libraries should make active use of modern information technology,and innovate service modes to improve the efficiency and influence of reading services.In addition,the government should increase investment in public libraries,improve the hardware facilities of libraries and improve the service level of software,so as to provide a strong guarantee for nationwide reading promotion.
