Survey and Estimation of the Average Passenger Capacity of Minibuses in the Highway Network
This study reflects the transportation efficiency of non-operational passenger transport vehicles by scien-tifically estimating the average passenger capacity of minibuses in the highway network,so as to provide a new way to calculate per capita transportation indicators. In this paper, the quantitative analysis method is used to collect data to evaluate the number of minibuses and passenger capacity passing through five typical toll stations in Xuzhou. The results show that the average passenger capacity at each toll station varies, and the overall average passenger capacity is 1.804,which reflects the relatively low passenger transport efficiency of non-operational vehicles. The research data is of great significance for quantitatively evaluating the passenger transport efficiency of non-operational ve-hicles in the highway network, and provides new research ideas for calculating per capita traffic delay, per capita fuel consumption and other indicators.
