This article mainly studies the application of remote sensing technology in land planning.It uses litera-ture review and case analysis methods to point out its characteristics and data sources,introduces its specific applica-tions in land planning from four aspects:the monitoring of arable land resources,the evaluation of land quality,the evaluation of land carrying capacity and the early warning of environmental disasters,and combined with typical cases,expounds the entire process of remote sensing data acquisition,preprocessing and analysis,hoping to provide reference for its practical application and help the efficient development of land planning.
