Simulation Analysis of the Hydration Heat of the Mass Concrete of Raft Foundation
A large amount of heat will be released to form temperature cracks during the hardening process of mass concrete, which will affect the safety and durability of the structure.Based on the raft project of deep foundation pits at the Huanggang Checkpoint Station in Shenzhen, the temperature change and thermal stress of mass concrete rafts after pouring are numerically analyzed by MIDAS/FEA,and the influences of different pouring methods on the hydration heat of mass concrete are compared and studied. Results show that the segmented layered beveled pouring can effectively reduce the early temperature rise of mass concrete and control the generation of surface cracks.
