Research on the Application of Hot in-Place Recycling Technology in Highways in Jiangsu Province
Hot in-place recycling is a green and environmentally-friendly pavement maintenance technology,which can effectively repair ruts,cracks and other diseases on asphalt pavements.This technology has been applied to highways in Jiangsu Province since 2003 and has been applied for 1997 km so far.Based on the relevant mainte-nance data of these highway sections,this paper analyzes the service life of hot in-place recycling technology and its influencing factors,and results show that the service life of hot in-place recycling technology in highways in Jiangsu Province is generally 4～6 years.The granular composition of the upper surface course of original pavements has no significant effect on the service life of hot in-place recycling technology,but the service life,traffic grade and as-phalt type on the middle surface course of original pavements have significant effects on it.
