Based on the construction practice of the public cultural service system in public libraries in Xiamen,this paper sorts out the development process of the Xiamen Public Library Coalition,summarizes its development strate-gies:the strengthening of service collaboration and coordination,the co-construction and sharing of digital re-sources,the joint cataloging of literature information,the interconnection and interaction of reading promotion ac-tivities,the innovation of technology application and smart scenarios and the expansion of new reading space,ana-lyzes the problems and challenges faced by it,and puts forward the outlook for its future,in order to provide refer-ence for the theoretical research and practical exploration of the construction of the public cultural service system in China.
