Prediction Models for the Corrosion Rate of Carbon Steel in Different Water Qualities
Corrosion is one of the three major problems faced by the circulating cooling water system, and its real-time and accurate monitoring is helpful to timely detect and control corrosion problems in production.Based on the analysis of the existing monitoring technology of the corrosion rate, and combined with the actual situation and control effect of heat exchanger materials, water quality and corrosion control, the flow and mass transfer characteristics of cooling water during the operation of shell-and-tube heat exchangers are simulated, and a dynamic simulation and comprehensive evaluation system of circulating cooling water is constructed.Combined with the principle of the least square support vector machine algorithm,a model for predicting the corrosion rate based on water quality parameters is established with the corrosion rate as the target quantity, which provides the reliable data of corrosion properties for the evaluation of scale and corrosion inhibition effects.
