Research on the Geologic Characteristics and Foundation Treatment Measures of a Local Project
The ground base is the soil and rock mass that supports the the foundation underneath a building. The soil layer that serves as the ground base of the building is divided into rock, gravel soil, sand, silt, clayey soil and artificial fill. The part of the building that is buried below the ground is called the foundation, the soil layer that bears the load transmitted from the foundation is called the ground base.Ground bases and foundations are underground concealed projects and the fundamental parts of buildings, and their survey, design and construction quality are related to the safety and normal use of the entire building. In addition to meeting the design requirements of the project, ground base treatment should also be adapted to local conditions, local materials, environmental protection and resource conservation.Through the comprehensive research and analysis of the geologic characteristics of a local project, the physical and mechanical characteristics of the experimental data of rock and soil samples are analyzed, which provides reliable data support for ground base treatment.
