Analysis of Bank Collapse Treatment and Bank Protection Effects in Wangjiazhou of the Yangtze River
By analyzing the recent change trend of river regime in the upstream and downstream Sanhao reaches of the Yangtze River,it is found that due to the influence of changes in upstream river regime, the bank slope of Wangjiazhou is prone to collapse and retreat, which requires the implementation of rectification projects. In order to solve the problem of bank collapse in Wangjiazhou, the protection and reinforcement measures of bank slopes have been taken for bank collapse reaches. After the implementation of the project, combined with recent bank protection mapping, the hydrology and geology of this area are studied, the evolution of the river channel is analyzed, and the plane method,cross-sectional method and erosion and deposition analysis method are used to comprehensively analyze the effect of the implementation of the bank protection project in Wangjiazhou. The results indicate that the implementation of the revetment project ensures the stability of bank slopes, and that they have been tested by multiple floods, which actually shows that the nearshore riverbed and bank slope of revetment reachs are relatively stable with good revetment effects.Combined with the practical experience of the project,follow-up suggestions and protection measures are proposed.
