Research and Development of a Thickness Detection Device for the Feed Layer of a Tobacco Leaf Redrying Machine
Tobacco leaf redrying processing is an important part of the process of tobacco leaf processing,and a to-bacco leaf redrying machine is its main equipment.The tobacco leaf redrying machine usually consists of a scraper feeder,a bin feeder,a feed end,a drying section,a cooling section,a moisture regaining section,a discharge end and a pipeline system,which dries materials through convective heat transfer,and the drying speed of materials is nega-tively correlated with the thickness of mesh materials in the drying process.Under the certain conditions of the cir-culating air flow rate and temperature and humidity,the drying effect is better when the layer thickness of materials is relatively thin,so the control of the thickness of the feed layer is of certain importance for processing quality.This article studies the thickness detection device for the feed layer of the tobacco leaf redrying machine,and designs a new type of thickness detection device,so as to further improve the quality and efficiency of tobacco leaf processing.
