Research on Integrating the Guiding Principles of the 20th CPC National Congress into the Cultivation of Labor Spirit Among College Students Under the Background of Fostering Virtue Through Education
The report to the 20th CPC National Congress proposed to fully implement the Party's educational policy,carry out the basic task of fostering virtue through education,and nurture a new generation of capable young people with sound"moral grounding,intellectual ability,physical vigor,aesthetic sensibility and work skills"who will fully develop socialism and carry forward the socialist cause.Labor education is a significant component of the socialist educational system with Chinese characteristics,which represents the labor spiritual outlook of socialist builders and successors.The labor value orientation and the labor skill level are the important components of excel-lent traditional Chinese culture and modern spiritual qualities that college students should have in the new era.Combined with fostering virtue through education,and responding to the call to labor spirit in the 20th CPC Na-tional Congress,this paper proposes suggestions and measures for cultivating labor spirit among college students in the new era,and studies and constructs the channels of cultivating their labor spirit,so as to cultivate their labor spirit in the new era,establish their correct and positive labor concept,strengthen their ideals and beliefs,promote labor spirit,help them consolidate the spiritual foundation of walking on the new path of modernization in China,and gather spiritual strength.
