Mechanical Characteristics of the Rock and Soil Mass and Design of Foundation Schemes in Karst Areas
A ground base of a construction project is not only a foundation,but also the key to ensuring the quality of the project,and the stability of the ground base is closely related to the safety and social value of the project.Geo-technical engineering investigations in karst areas are to accurately obtain the physical and mechanical parameters of the rock and soil mass,so as to solve the problem of the distortion of survey data caused by the incomplete under-standing of the geological characteristics of rock and soil engineering.This article provides a detailed analysis of the mechanical and geological characteristics of the rock and soil mass in the karst site,which provides accurate survey data that is in line with the karst site for the design party,and proposes a foundation design scheme that is in line with the karst site,in order to provide reference for similar karst areas.
