Analysis of the Geological Characteristics of the Jimingsansheng Bridge Project
The Jimingsansheng Bridge is situated at the junction of Sichuan Province,Yunnan Province and Gui-zhou Province with a total length of 286.4 meters, and its main bridge is an deck-type reinforced concrete box arch bridge with a deck width of 11.5 meters and a clear span of 180 meters. This bridge is located in a alpine and gorge area, and influenced by its structures, adverse geology such as the dangerous rock mass, the rock mass unloading belt, the karst landform and the bedrock bedding landslide is developed in the bridge site area.According to the geological structure of the site and the formal characteristics of the bridge, this paper analyzes the foundation stabil-ity and landslide stability of the bridge, and studies the engineering geological characteristics of the bridge site,par-ticularly the development features of seismic disasters, which provides a basis and parameters for bridge design and ensures bridge safety.
