Exploring Error Sources in the Production Process of Topographic Maps and Their Processing Methods
With the advancement of geographic information system technology and remote sensing technology,the precise production of topographic maps is becoming increasingly important.This article discusses main error sources in the production process of topographic maps and their processing methods.Error sources include measurement er-rors,map projection errors,topographic representation errors and data processing errors.In order to address these er-rors,the article proposes corresponding processing strategies:reducing measurement errors by modern measurement techniques,reducing projection errors by appropriate map projection methods,improving the accuracy of topo-graphic representation by refining topographic classification,and reducing data processing errors by efficient data processing techniques.The research in this article is of great significance for improving the quality and reliability of topographic maps.
