Sanba Reservoir has played a crucial role in the comprehensive utilization of water resources such as flood prevention,irrigation,and drinking water in the local area.Considering the problems of upstream dam col-lapse,dam leakage,inadequate gate closure,and damage to the outlet channel during the operation of the reservoir,a dam safety evaluation was conducted on the reservoir,which was identified as a Class III dam.Subsequently,the design and implementation of the reservoir's risk elimination and reinforcement work were carried out,and the risk elimination and reinforcement work was completed.This article elaborates on the key points of quality control dur-ing the construction process of risk elimination and reinforcement in Sanba Reservoir,hoping to provide reference for the quality control of similar reservoir risk elimination and reinforcement projects.
