In response to the drawbacks of security monitoring systems that rely heavily on manual intervention and lack high intelligence,research has been conducted to summarize the application of Intelligent Behavior Recogni-tion technology in security monitoring for welfare assistance.This paper elucidates the current stage and develop-ment of Intelligent Behavior Recognition technology,as well as its shortcomings.By exploring the participation of Artificial Intelligence(AI)in the behavior recognition and detection of security monitoring,and reviewing and ana-lyzing existing research,this paper explores the prospects and challenges of applying AI technology to identify ab-normal behaviors in the field of security video surveillance.The concept,methods,and technology of abnormal be-havior recognition in security monitoring under AI are introduced,along with a discussion of their importance in security monitoring within welfare institutions.
