Discussion on the Application Status of Augmented Reality Technology in the Aircraft Maintenance Industry
This paper introduces the current situation and existing problems of aircraft maintenance industry.The emergence and rapid development of Augmented Reality(AR)technology provide new technical means and meth-ods for aircraft maintenance.Through AR technology can not only improve the working efficiency of maintenance personnel,but also effectively improve the reliability of maintenance.In the AR remote technical support system,aircraft maintenance engineers can view the real-time on-site scene from the first perspective through the AR sys-tem,providing technical guidance to on-site maintenance personnel.Other applications in the aircraft maintenance industry include intelligent action recognition,component recognition and search,electronic work card function,and distance measurement between vehicles and aircraft.
