With the development of road and bridge construction technology,prestressed technique has been widely used in modern highway road and bridge construction.Prestressed technique utilizes tension and stress to off-set each other,which plays a vital role in highway road and bridge construction.It can effectively avoid cracks caused by external pressure and make the bridge structure more stable and safe.This paper takes prestressed tech-nique as the research object,expounds the concept and characteristics of prestressed construction technique,and probes into the concrete application of prestressed technique in highway road and bridge construction in China,aiming at improving the overall construction level of highway road and bridge and promoting the healthy and rapid development of social economy.
