Mining is an indispensable part of social and economic activities.However,traditional mining activities are often accompanied by serious problems such as environmental damage,resource waste,social equity.Therefore,through a comprehensive indicator system and suggestions based on Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment theory,a systematic theoretical framework and practical experience are provided for green mining,and a multi-realm mining model is proposed.In practice in Bayan Obo Mining Area,after adopting the suggestions and the multi-realm min-ing model,the results showed that the scores for the three major indicators of environment,society,and economy increased by an average of 39.04%.The results show that the advanced theoretical framework and practical route proposed have injected new ideas into the development of green mining,and provided useful experience and inspi-ration to promote the development of mining industry in a more environmentally friendly,socially responsible,and economically sustainable direction.
