Study on the Impact of Arch Dam on the Lining of Adjacent Diversion Tunnels Before and After Completion
Adiversion tunnel is a tunnel for diversion and drainage during the construction period of hydropower stations, dams and other buildings. It is expensive and the construction is complicated,so it is generally used in com-bination with permanent tunnels in the later stage. So it is necessary to ensure its safety and stability in various peri-ods.Through the study,it analyzes the changes of the additional stress of the diversion tunnels adjacent to the dam body under four working conditions:before the construction of the arch dam, after the completion of the construc-tion of the arch dam, after the backfilling of concrete on the arch dam shoulder and foundation, during the normal operation of the reservoir area, the impact of the construction of the arch dam body and each stage before and after operation on the safety and stability of adjacent diversion tunnel lining has been obtained. It provides a certain refer-ence value for the design and optimization of other similar projects.
