Analysis of the Spatiotemporal Changes and Driving Forces of Urban and Rural Construction Land in the Central Plains Urban Agglomeration
Taking Xinxiang,Hebi and Anyang of the Central Plains urban agglomeration as the research area, using ENVI5.3 and ArcGIS 10.2 software along with Landsat 8 OLI_TIRS satellite remote sensing data, this article ana-lyzes the changes in urban and rural construction land at three time points in 2013,2017,and 2021.The study re-veals a significant increase in construction land area from 2013 to 2021,with the growth rate between 2017 and 2021 being particularly noteworthy.Through Comparative Analysis and Transition Matrix methods, the close con-nection between the expansion of construction land and regional economic growth, population increase, and urban-ization processes, and other factors has been revealed. These study results can provide reference for regional land re-source management and urban-rural planning.
