With the rapid development of Information technology,the application of Geographic Information Big Data in national spatial planning is becoming increasingly widespread.As a strategic deployment at the national level,national spatial planning is related to the rational allocation and effective utilization of land resources,and also profoundly affects the sustainable development of the economy and society,the protection of the ecological envi-ronment,and the orderly construction of urban and rural spaces.Therefore,it is necessary to deeply explore the ap-plication of Geographic Information Big Data in national spatial planning.It provides a brief overview of geo-graphic information big data and its related technologies,and analyzes in detail the diverse applications of Geo-graphic Information Big Data in national spatial planning.
