5G communication technology has greatly improved the efficiency and quality of radio and TV transmis-sion.5G communication has solved all kinds of problems in traditional radio and TV transmission relying on its characteristics of high speed and low delay,and improves the user's satisfaction.Emphasis is placed on exploring the application and optimization of 5G communication in radio and TV transmission.From the development of exist-ing technology,the application of 5G communication is mainly reflected in high-definition video transmission,low-delay live broadcast,network slicing and so on.In the development of technology,attention should be paid to solve the problems of network resource allocation,information transmission privacy and security protection.
