Cause Analysis and Measure Discussion of Large Vibration of Bearing Bush#1 During Load Variation of a 600 MW Air-Cooled Steam Turbine Unit
The vibration of rotating equipment in steam turbines is a crucial indicator reflecting the safety of the equipment itself.Abnormal vibration is a direct cause of equipment and structural failure,as well as catastrophic damage.Excessive vibration often indicates the presence of potential malfunction in the equipment. In response to the problem of large vibration of bearing bush#1 of 600 MW air-cooled steam turbine units during load increase and decrease, based on the actual operational requirements of the units,a set of operational control measures and shutdown maintenance measure have been explored for the problem of large bearing vibration in the unit. These measures not only achieve vibration control during unit operation, but also fundamentally resolve the problem of excessive vibration in steam turbine bearing bush#1 through maintenance, providing valuable insights for other similar units.
