Analysis of the Spatiotemporal Distribution Characteristics of Aerosol Optical Depth in Jiangsu Province from 2012 to 2018
It analyzes the aerosol optical depth in Jiangsu Province by using Moderate-resolution Imaging Spectro-radiometer(MODIS)secondary product data from 2012 to 2018.From the trend of annual average Aerosol Optical Depth(AOD)changes, the annual average AOD in Jiangsu region fluctuates between 0.4-0.8.From 2012 to 2016,the annual average AOD in northern Jiangsu showed an upward trend, while from 2017 to 2018,the annual aver-age AOD in northern Jiangsu decreased. The annual average AOD in southern Jiangsu was the highest in 2012 and 2013,while the average AOD in other years remained relatively stable. From the perspective of seasonal and monthly variations of AOD,the seasonal distribution of the average AOD in Jiangsu region is summer>spring>au-tumn>winter.The highest AOD average occurs in June, with an upward trend from February to June,a relatively stable trend from July to October, and a downward trend from October to December. The lowest monthly AOD average occurs in December. From the perspective of AOD influencing factors, the terrain of Jiangsu has no signifi-cant impact on the distribution of AOD.The main influencing factor is the pollution situation, and there is a clear positive correlation between atmospheric pollutants and the distribution of AOD in Jiangsu region.
