With the rapid development of science and technology,the public security prevention and control sys-tem in higher vocational colleges also needs to be continuously updated to meet the needs of safety management in the new era.This paper discusses the creation of a new model of public security prevention and control system in higher vocational colleges,and focuses on the innovation and application of technology.By analyzing the current challenges faced by the current security prevention and control in higher vocational colleges,a construction scheme of public security prevention and control system based on advanced technologies such as Internet of Things,Big Data,and Artificial Intelligence is proposed.It elaborates on the application of new technologies in public security prevention and control,including intelligent monitoring,early warning systems,data analysis,etc.,and intuitively demonstrates the effect of technology implementation in the form of charts.It aims to improve the security preven-tion and control capabilities of vocational colleges through technological innovation,ensuring campus safety and sta-bility.
