For middle-low rise buildings in karst areas,it is generally recommended to use natural foundations or treated composite foundations unless the ground floor column load is particularly large.When there is a karst cave or soil cave within the range of 3b below the independent foundation or 6b(b is the basic width)below the strip foundation,foundation treatment measures such as grouting reinforcement should be taken.The grouting filling ef-fect within the karst cave range needs to be judged through experimental testing.Based on engineering examples,the treatment methods of karst caves under natural foundations in karst areas,as well as the requirements and meth-ods for grouting effect detection discussed in this paper.This method has achieved good results in engineering.It's hoped that it could provide a certain reference for the design of natural foundation and foundation treatment detec-tion in karst areas in subsequent projects.
