With the continuous development of social economy,the acceleration of urbanization process,and the continuous scale expanding of urban population,it puts forward higher requirements for the defense ability of re-gional meteorological disasters.However,the traditional single defense mode is no longer able to meet the require-ments of modern cities for high-quality and efficient meteorological disaster defense,which requires innovative de-fense modes for meteorological disasters.Based on the actual situation in Jingdezhen,Jiangxi Province,this paper briefly analyzes the shortcomings and deficiencies of traditional meteorological disaster prevention work,and pro-poses a new defense model guided by functional zones,aiming to strengthen the urban meteorological disaster pre-vention and reduction capabilities and promote the sustainable development of regional economy.
