With the acceleration of urbanization,the transportation demand between cities and between cities and rural areas has significantly increased.Highway is the main mode of transportation.Optimizing route and roadbed design can effectively reduce traffic accidents and improve road safety.Especially in complex terrain and climate conditions,strengthening design is particularly important for ensuring driving safety.Based on this,taking the prin-ciples of highway engineering route and roadbed design as the starting point,this paper focuses on elaborating the design points of highway engineering route and roadbed,aiming at improving the rationality of the design scheme and laying a good foundation for the construction of highway engineering.
