In recent years,with the rapid development of extreme weather forecasting,nowcasting is widely valued.Nowcasting is mainly a weather forecast with high temporal and spatial resolution of 0～6 h,and the forecast object is the weather with obvious changes in 0～6 h,mainly thunderstorms,strong convection and winter snowstorms.The related weather forecasting work is difficult,so it is imperative to scientifically adopt advanced weather forecast-ing technology.Based on this,this paper analyzes the characteristics of thunderstorm and severe convection,studies the application measures of nowcasting technology,and emphasizes the active use of tracking radar echo technol-ogy,thunderstorm identification technology,etc.in the process of thunderstorm and severe convection nowcasting,which contributes to the sound development of related work.
