According to the requirements of"Fire Protection Standard for Design of Thermal Power Plants and Substations"(GB 50229-2019),fixed gas fire extinguishing systems are installed in the electronic equipment room,distribution room,cable interlayer,relay room,engineer room,electronic equipment room of boiler auxiliary room,GIS building network relay room,and comprehensive maintenance building archives rooms in the main con-trol building of the gas turbine power plant.The following discussion focuses on the types and selection of gas fire extinguishing systems,as well as the selection of gas fire extinguishers,in order to obtain the optimal solution for prefabricated fire extinguishing systems and pipeline fire extinguishing systems in gas turbine power plants.
