Analysis on disease spectrum of bone and joint injuries of the flying personnel
Objective To acknowledge the characteristic and causes of bone and joint injuries of flying personnel,to present health care strategies for improving health status of flying personnel and prolonging working life.Methods By analyzing the basic information,first diagnosis,age and flying time of flying personnel hospitalized in our department in recent ten years and by illustrating thefeatures of disease spectrum of bone and joint injuries and analyzing the chief cause of injuries.Results From 2013 to 2022,there were 101 flying personel hospitalized in our department for bone and joint injuries.Sports related injuries accounted for 62.4%,with patients suffering knee joint injuries accounting for the highest proportion(25.6%).From 2013 to 2016,the proportion of inpatients due to bone and joint injuries accounted for 1.9%of the total number of hospitalizations.After 2016,the proportion increased to 4.4%,and there was a statistical difference between the two groups(x2=10.348,P=0.001).From 2013 to 2016,sports training injuries accounted for 20%,and after 2016,sports training injuries accounted for 69.77%,with a statistically significant difference between the two groups(x2=13.480,P<0.001).Conclusion The occurrence of bone and joint injuries in flying personnel is highly correlated with the sports training plan.It is suggested to optimize the training contents and reduce the incidence of bone and joint injuries.
