Study on Chemical Components and Anti-inflammatory Effects of Water Decoction of Spuriopimpinella brachycarpa
To identify the chemical components in the water decoction of Spuriopimpinella brachycarpa and evaluate its anti-inflammatory effects,UHPLC-Q-Exactive Orbitrap-MS technology was used for analysis.Meanwhile, the anti-inflammatory effect of the water decoction of Spuriopimpinella brachycarpa was studied via LPS-induced zebrafish bacterial inflammation model and immunofluorescence staining technology.Fourteen chemical components were identified, including 3 flavonoids(apigenin,diosmin,eugenol-3-glucose)and 11 phenolic acids(neochlorogenic acid, cryptochlorogenic acid, isochlorogenic acid,etc.).The anti-inflammatory study showed that LPS-induced inflammation significantly increased the number of neutrophils, but after drug treatment, the number of neutrophils was significantly lower than that of the untreated model group, manifesting the certain anti-inflammatory effect of the water decoction of Spuriopimpinella brachycarpa. In addition, the IC50 calculation results showed that the IC50 of the water decoction of Spuriopimpinella brachycarpa for zebrafish was about 110 μg/mL.These results provide a theoretical basis for the pharmacological action and clinical application of Spuriopimpinella brachycarpa, and render a new strategy and a potential drug target for the treatment of inflammatory diseases.
