Analysis on the Current State and Problems of the Environmental Protection Industry in Yunnan Province
The environmental protection industry is one of the strategic emerging industries that the coun-try is accelerating.The cultivation of developing the environmental protection industry can promote the comprehensive green and low-carbon transformation of Yunnan Province's economy and society.Firstly,by investigating environmental protection enterprises in Yunnan Province,checking relevant information,and analyzing the data,the results show that:1)The current development status of the environmental protection industry in Yunnan Province is mainly:the total output value of the environmental protection industry is relatively small,and the number of employees is relatively small.There are few large environ-mental protection enterprises,but their output value is high.There are many small enterprises,but their output value is low.The pace of transformation and upgrading of environmental protection enterprises is accelerating.2)The main problems in the development of the environmental protection industry in Yun-nan Province are:the speed of development of the environmental protection industry is not as expected.The development of the environmental protection industry is uneven in 16 cities(prefectures).Environ-mental protection enterprises have lower technological levels and weaker market competitiveness.Finally,some suggestions for the development of the environmental protection industry in Yunnan Province are as follows:to develop and strengthen leading enterprises,and to become"specialized,refined,unique,and new"enterprises;increase policy support efforts;enhance the technological innovation capability of the environmental protection industry.
