Preparation and Performance Evaluation of Fe-ZIF-8 Catalyst
A Fe-ZIF-8 catalyst was synthesized for the treatment of dye wastewater. Its structure was char-acterized by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy, and its photocatalytic effect on methylene blue simulated wastewater was studied. The effects of catalyst dosage, reaction time, and pH on the degra-dation efficiency were investigated. The experimental results show that the synthesized catalyst has a good photocatalytic effect on methylene blue simulated wastewater.Under experimental conditions, the optimal amount of catalyst is 150 mg,and the best effect is achieved at a pH of 9.After 3 hours of reaction, the degradation rate can reach above 98.53%.The catalyst utilizes the excellent physicochemical properties of metal-organic frameworks and has good application prospects for the degradation of dye wastewater.
