The intelligent gateway based on IoT applications can be compatible with different communica-tion protocols and data sources in automatic control systems,efficiently collect data,and achieve commu-nication interconnection.Studying the application of intelligent gateway in vocational automation educa-tion practice has significant guiding significance.This article uses SIMATIC IOT2000 to construct a data acquisition and transmission system based on the YL158GA1equipment.It explores the application of IoT intelligent gateways in skill training in vocational colleges and conducts research and exploration on the control functions of the IOT2000.Finally,a summary of the advantages and disadvantages of the IOT2000 is provided.Additionally,in combination with the current needs of Innovation and Entrepre-neurship education in Chinese colleges and universities,the application prospects of the IOT2000 are an-alyzed.
