Research on the Ideological and Behavioral Characteristics of Economically Disadvantaged Students in Higher Vocational Colleges:Taking Students from Economically Disadvantaged Families in Some Domestic Higher Vocational Colleges as Examples
In the context of deepening vocational education reform, special transitional issues faced by e-conomically disadvantaged students should receive adequate attention. In order to understand and address the challenges encountered by these students,a questionnaire survey was conducted among students from several domestic higher vocational colleges. The findings reveal that economically disadvantaged students tend to adapt slowly to college life;they achieve good academic results but lack other interests;they ac-tively participate in group activities;and while they have ideals, they lack clear plans for their future. To assist them in overcoming these problems and to lay a foundation for future development, this paper puts forward some countermeasures.
