Research on the Current Situation and Strategies for Cooperative Education Between Counselors and Students'Families in Higher Vocational Colleges:A Case Study of a College in Kunming
The cooperation between vocational college counselors and students'families in co-educating students is essential for the growth and development of college students.Based on this,the study prima-rily focuses on counselors and students'families in a college in Kunming,Yunnan Province.Through questionnaires,interviews and practical work experience,it is found that counselors and student families have achieved certain effectiveness in co-educating students.However,there are still five deficiencies in the process:lack of mechanism safeguards,reliance on online platforms for cooperative education,mis-aligned cooperative education goals,insufficient knowledge and abilities for co-educating,and lack of student support.Finally,five strategies are put forward:establishing and improving mechanisms for counselors and students'families to collaborate;creating a dual online and offline platform to enrich co-operative education forms;aligning cooperative education goals with the actual needs of student families;strengthening training and learning to improve the educational literacy of counselors and student'families;and transforming students perceptions to leverage their role as a link.
