Objective To compare the therapy effect of different crown restoration with root canals treat-ment for patients with cryptic fissure pulpitis. Methods A total of 80 patients with cryptic fissure pulpitis admit-ted to the hospital from January 2020 to June 2022 were selected as research participants, and were divided into two groups according to the random number table method in a ratio of 1∶1.In the study group,40 cases with 42 cracked teeth were treated with hot gutta vertical compression root canal filling combined with CAD/CAM zirco-nia all-ceramic crown restoration;in the control group,40 cases with 43 cracked teeth were treated with hot gutta vertical compression root canal filling combined with cobalt-chromium metal crown. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared before and 1 month after treatment, including the levels of pain visual analog scale(VAS),masticatory function(chewing efficiency and bite time),and the inflammatory factors in the gingival fluid.Periodontal index[probing depth(PD),gingival index(GI)]were evaluated before treatment and 6 months after treatment. Results The total effective rate of the study group(95.00%)was higher than that of the control group(77.50%)(P<0.05).1 month after treatment, the masticatory efficiency of the study group was higher than that in the control group, and the bite time and VAS score in the study group was lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The levels of TNF-α,CRP,and IL-6 in the gingival fluid of the study group were lower than those of the con-trol group(P<0.05).The levels of PD and GI in the study group were lower than those of the control group after 6 months of treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion CAD/CAM zirconia all-ceramic crown restoration is effective in treat-ing cryptic fissure pulpitis, which can effectively improve masticatory function, reduce oral inflammation and pain, and have little effect on periodontal status.
