With the development of digital technology,different processes in the field of prosthodontics are gradually entering the stage of efficient and precise treatment.The correct transfer of jaw position relationship is a prerequisite for producing high-quality prosthesis among which the mandibular motion analysis system can record the trajectory of jaw movement under dynamic and static conditions,which is significantly superior to traditional mechanical facebow.The current use of mandibular motion analysis systemin prosthodontics includes aesthetic restoration of anterior teeth,restoration of tooth defects and dentition defects,temporomandibular joint lesions,and occlusal reconstruction.Based on this,this article reviews the current research status of clinical applications of mandibular motion analysis system in the field of oral prosthesis,in order to provide reference for clinical application and research in related fields.
