Objective:To study the optimal process conditions of preparing porous HAPw-nmZnO-nmCao bone repair materials by adding pore-forming agent.Methods:HAPw-nmZnO-nmCaO colloidal silica and PMMA were used to form porous bone scaffold materials through mould forming and high-temperature calcination. We used XRD,SEM,Archimedes drain method and universal testing machines to characterize the materials. The degradation properties in vitro and cytotoxicity of porous bone repair materials was also discussed. Results:The results showed that when the calcination temperature should be lower than 600℃.The optimum process conditions were as follows:pore-making agent accounting for 20%wt,600℃ of calcination temperature. The porous bone repair materials that we prepared under these conditions have good porosity(47%)and mechanical strength(2.6 MPa),with suitable degradation rate and biocompatibility. Conclusion:This study successfull screened out the optimal process conditions of preparing porous HAPw-nmZnO-nmCao bone repair materials using the method of adding pore forming agent.
