Temporomandibular disorders is a kind of complex oral and maxillofacial disease whose etiology has not yet been determined,and it is one of the four major oral epidemic diseases classified by WHO.With the deepening of clinical understanding of temporomandibular disorders,the role of psychological factors in the occurrence of this disease has attracted more and more attention from researchers and clinicians.This paper combines domestic and foreign literature to review the literature from the following three aspects:diagnosis and classification of temporomandibular disorders,common psychological problems and psychotherapy of patients with temporomandibular disorders,so as to provide certain theoretical and practical basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
