The fast-developing oral implantology restoration poses a new challenge to the teaching of prosthodontics.The mastery of the knowledge and skills of oral implantology requires systematic study and standardized training,which is highly specialized.The TBL-based teaching model has become a more popular teaching method in the international medical education.Its main feature is team-based collaborative learning and teaching strategy based on problem-oriented approach.The integration of Team-Based Learning(TBL)with clinical internships in medical practice results in an improved TBL teaching model.This article mainly introduces the application of the improved TBL teaching model in clinical diagnosis and treatment teaching in the training of professional graduate students majoring in prosthodontics and implantology.It details the specific methods,working process,challenges,and countermeasures,aiming to enhance teaching efficiency,foster proactive and lifelong learners,and achieve the rational allocation of educational resources.The goal is to meet the current and future demands for talents of society in the field of oral implantology restoration.
