In the field of stomatology, sticky bone generally refers to a gelatinous mass of bone graft prepared by mixing the inject able platelet rich fibrin(i-PRF)of the second generation plasmatrix with a certain quality of bone grafting materials.Sticky bone is rich in the basic elements required for tissue regeneration, such as growth factors and fibrin scaffolds provided by the plasmatrix, but also has a certain degree of plasticity, which has a broad application in clinical treatment such as bone augmentation, maxillary sinus floor elevation and alveolar ridge preservation. This review summarizes clinical experience and relevant research, and introduces the basic information of sticky bone and its current application in clinical treatment to provide reference for subsequent research.
