A total of 86 patients with abnormal tooth morphology and structure were treated with tooth defect repair.The study group(n=43)underwent a novel nano-composite ceramic Vita Ultimate pulp superinset,while the control group(n=43)underwent a stone porcelain Vita TriLuxe pulp superinset.After 1 year of treatment,patients in the study group were better than those in the control group in terms of maxillary tooth wear(P＜0.05).The SBI and GI scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group;The ability of mastication was higher than that of control group(P＜0.05).The incidence of complications such as gingival swelling,bleeding,and pain in the study group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05).In terms of restoration integrity and secondary caries,the satisfaction of the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).
