The Influence of Digital Economy on Common Prosperity——From the Perspective of Industrial Structure Upgrading
As a key engine of China's high-quality economic development,how the digital economy pro-motes common prosperity in high-quality development has become an important topic in the new era.Firstly,this paper constructs an index evaluation system of common prosperity and digital economy,and calculates the development level of common prosperity and digital economy in Chinese provinces and cities from 2013 to 2021 by using the vertical and horizontal grading method.Secondly,the relationship between digital economy,industrial structure upgrading and common prosperity is empirically tested by using spatial econo-metric model and intermediary effect model.The results show that digital economy can significantly improve the development level of common prosperity,and the conclusion is robust.Industrial structure upgrading plays a significant intermediary role in the process of digital economy empowering common prosperity.Fi-nally,based on the empirical results,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions from two aspects:accelerating the construction of digital information infrastructure and promoting the optimiza-tion and upgrading of industrial structure,with a view to promoting the process of common prosperity.
