Construction and Application of the Language and Landscape Resource Database in the Economic Zone of the Southern Xinjiang Port
After ten years of development,the"the Belt and Road"construction has achieved remarkable results.In order to continue to work hard on the"the Belt and Road",the country established a free trade zone in Xinjiang in October 2023,which will further strengthen the construction of the"the Belt and Road".The economic and trade activities of Xinjiang Port Economic Belt are becoming increasingly active,and its language landscape has undergone new changes.The most significant change is the development from a single urban language model to a multimodal language model.Against this backdrop of change,considering all aspects of these language landscapes,it can be seen that the current urgent issue to be studied is mainly how to break through the limitations of previous urban language research and adapt to the development of the digital age society and the needs of smart city construction as soon as possible.At the same time,the national"the Belt and Road"economic development plan puts forward new requirements for node cities to rely on local characteristics,identify development positioning,establish a brand image,and actively build national image and voice.Tourist cities are distributed throughout the free trade zone,providing windows for external display and national brand resources.Their unique language landscape is an important component of language resources.The development and utilization of language landscape resources in tourist cities has become a new field of economic development and an indicator of the soft power of national culture.Therefore,this article proposes to investigate the language landscape of Xinjiang Free Trade Zone ports,and based on this,carry out resource database construction and application research,which has practical significance and reference value for the development and planning of the language landscape in the port economic zone,the development of diverse and harmonious languages,and the construction of urban image discourse power.
