The Spatial Agglomeration Distribution Characteristics of the Tarim Economic Belt's Tourism Industry and Analysis of Influencing Factors
The Tarim Economic Belt is a strategic planning by the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Committee for the overall regional development of Southern Xinjiang, aiming to play a leading and driving role.Tourism industry agglomeration is one of the important driving forces for regional economic development. This study evaluates the spatial agglomeration degree of the tourism industry in the Tarim Economic Belt using the location entropy index. The research results show that:(4)The level of spatial agglomeration of the tourism industry in the Tarim Economic Belt is relatively low, with significant dispersion characteristics, and it is in the early stage of tourism industry agglomeration development.(2)The kernel density analysis reveals an uneven degree of industry agglomeration within the region, generally presenting an"L"-shaped distribution, with different distribution characteristics among different tourism industry agglomerations.Additionally, this study analyzes the influencing factors of the spatial agglomeration distribution characteristics of the tourism industry in the Tarim Economic Belt through Pearson's correlation coefficient. The results indicate that:(1)Regional GDP and population size are the main influencing factors of the spatial agglomeration distribution characteristics of the tourism industry in the Tarim Economic Belt.(2)The abundance of tourism resources plays an important role in the distribution characteristics of the tourism industry agglomeration in the region. However, the correlation between transportation infrastructure construction and the distribution of tourism industry agglomeration in the region is relatively weak.(3)The spatial agglomeration distribution of the tourism industry in the Tarim Economic Belt is also influenced by the interaction between the abundance of tourism resources and the density of transportation infrastructure,as well as the population size and regional GDP.
